Even assertive ingredients can calm the stomach like the puckery tartness of cranberries, tempered by pineapple and honey.



INGREDIENTS

  • 1 navel orange
  • 12 ounces (3 cups) fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 fresh pineapple, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch dice (about 3 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon packed light-brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
  • Freshly ground pepper, to taste
