Marron Layer Cake

INGREDIENTS

• 4 eggs
• 2 cups white sugar
• 1 cup vegetable oil
• 1 cup white wine
• 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 3/4 cup sweetened chestnut puree
• 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
• 4 (1 ounce) squares semi-sweet chocolate
• 3 tablespoons cream
• 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
• 8 marrons glaces (candied chestnuts)
